| 1 can cherry pie filling |
2 pkgs. cherry jello (3 oz.) |
| 1/2 c. sugar |
1 1/4 c. (10 oz.) Coke or 7-Up |
| 1 1/2 c. water |

In large saucepan, combine pie filling, sugar, & water. Bring to a boil. Add 2 packages of jello. Stir until dissolved. Cool. Then add soda (cola or 7-up). Pour into a 2 1/2 qt. bowl and refrigerate. You may garnish with whipped cream and cherries, if desired.
This colorful salad (often prepared by Carlton's aunt) has been enjoyed at many, many parties.
